MultifamilyBiz.com Launches Interactive Map for NAA Conference & Exposition

NEW ORLEANS, LA – MultifamilyBiz.com, the Next Generation Internet Platform for the Multifamily Industry, today announced the launch of its custom interactive map for attendees of the 2010 National Apartment Association Education Conference & Exposition taking place in New Orleans June 24-26. A New Orleans-based company, MultifamilyBiz.com built the interactive map from a local point of view, featuring select eateries, entertainment venues and places to visit throughout the New Orleans area while attending the Expo.

With the NAA events expected to draw more than 5,000 multifamily housing professionals for the three-day event, MultifamilyBiz.com wanted not only to extend a warm welcome to its home city, but also to provide inside information on places to go that may be out of the tourist main stream, but are very popular among the New Orleans locals.

The interactive map was built using the Google Map Platform and features such spectacular New Orleans sights as the Audubon Insectarium, North America's largest museum devoted to insects and their relatives and featuring one of the most amazing butterfly gardens in the country. MultifamilyBiz.com also listed a group of its favorite places like local favorite Jacques-Imo's Restaurant, located in the Riverbend area of New Orleans and Tommy’s Wine Bar located in the trendy Warehouse District. Also mapped are some nationally known favorites as Emeril’s and House of Blues.

Focusing on the Conference, MultifamilyBiz.com also mapped the four NAA Tour Properties -- The Muses, Bywater Lofts, Columbia Parc and Hidden Lake Apartments, all post-Katrina developments. The properties can be toured on Friday, June 25th from 8:00am to 10:30pm. The map page also features links to register for the Conference and interacts with NAA’s blogs and social networks on Twitter and Facebook.
